Over 75s National Championships

Planning for this Celebration of Cricket has been of the highest order and Kevin Pike and his excellent team from CAM are deserving of our great praise. The tournament of two divisions of Over 75s teams will be held in Albury/Wodonga from 23rd to 27th November 2025.

Over 80s State Matches

During the above tournament two Over 80s matches between Victoria and NSW will be held. The enthusiastic gentlemen in both states aimed to play an intra-state match to help select their best eleven for this event.

Unfortunately, the Victorian match was washed out but the New South Welsh match

was a huge success, rightfully played on the Bradman Oval. The quintessence of

Masters Cricket was on display brilliantly both on and off the playing field at Bowral.

Silver Ashes Tour and World Cup

Preparations for the tour of the English continue with three lead-up games and an ODI being played in Adelaide, and one lead-up game and two ODIs in Sydney. Regular liaison with the English Management Team is occurring and planning continues to be on-task and on-time.

Ian Gibson and David Head have joined Dixie Daw to continue shaping what should

be a great event. This will immediately lead into the World Cup, and our team should

be raring to go. The final selection of the squad will be made on 29th November,

when the almost seventy-year-old nominees’ performances at the Over 65s National

Championships will be considered.
